Indonesian Orang Utans in Chester Zoo

Saturday, went to Chester zoo, got invitation for the launching of "Orang utans", unfortunately, was raining all day, what an awfull weather! was not a pleasant day to explored the zoo, fortunately, I had anticipated by bringing my umbrella in my bag.

There were few celebrities and some dignitaries including "Birute Galdikas", she is the president of orang utan and very well known in Indonesia, I remember watching her program in Indonesian TV many years ago, long before I came into this country, she's been living in the jungle of Borneo Indonesia for the past 35 years and dedicate herself to the orang utans, we had buffet in the huge marquee with them and get to talk to few of celebs who attended the launching, well aparantly one of them is one of the campaigners for saving the orang utans, and he's been in the Jungle of Borneo Indonesia to do some documentary filming (of course, what elese?).

There was an akward feeling to see these orang utans from my country being caved there to entertain the visitors, it's not their habitat, but at least they get feed well and taking care of, hope they'll be survived living in the huge semi glass cave.
