Cheshire candle factory
I took my daughter and her 2 of Hong Kong team from her youth exchange program who stayed over the weekend with us, thought to take them around to have the taste of Cheshire, we meant to go to Cheshire Ice Cream farm where the visitors can watch the ice cream is made with the milk from the herd of over 300 cows present on the farm, (you can even watch them being milked), but we then saw the sign of candle factory, ehmmh, sounds interesting….. so after had ice creams we then heading to the candle factory located near by the ice cream farm in the heart of the Cheshire countryside where you can watch skilled craftsmen and women carving candles by hand in the ancient art of candle making, it was huge place, I have never seen so many beautiful candles before, so many shapes, colors, scents, I love it.

Garuda, National Pride?
Indonesia has suffered a great number of insults to its pride and integrity recently.
A revised European Union airline blacklist includes all 51 Indonesian airlines, including national carrier Garuda. The list was put together by an EU air safety committee, which was approved on 6th July.
Now the Arabs and the Korean are threatening to follow the EU, to ban the Indonesian Airlines. No Indonesian airlines currently fly to Europe. The ban also serves as a warning to safety-obsessed Europeans not to use these airlines elsewhere in the world.
What shocked me was the comment from the President and some of the politicians on response to the ban.
Just read about the government wanting to ban EU, the Arabs and Korean airlines in Indonesia and asking Indonesian not to fly with their airlines, and threatening to stop the hundred thousands of Muslims from Indonesia to go to Mekkah for hajj.
What sort of government the Indonesian have? Who elects these people to run the country? This response was not logical and only relies on blind nationalism of some immature government officials. How can Indonesia be run by these people? The Government has opened Pandora’s box, imagine all the economy impact on this? Oh…and not to mention the social and religious impact from the Muslims who wanting to go for hajj.
Personally, I do not want to fly with Indonesian Airlines, and I believed many Indonesian doesn’t want to after this banning, it’s for safety reason of course, what the Indonesian government should do is to look what they have to do to repair the damage and follow all the International airlines criteria to get back on the list, not getting irritating and provoking the nation, let’s hope that they can shut the lid before too much damage is done!.
Sorry, I’ am an Indonesian but like many other Indonesian, we are very disappointed by these and the Indonesian government have failed Indonesian many times big time.

Indonesian Orang Utans in Chester Zoo
Saturday, went to Chester zoo, got invitation for the launching of "Orang utans", unfortunately, was raining all day, what an awfull weather! was not a pleasant day to explored the zoo, fortunately, I had anticipated by bringing my umbrella in my bag.
There were few celebrities and some dignitaries including "Birute Galdikas", she is the president of orang utan and very well known in Indonesia, I remember watching her program in Indonesian TV many years ago, long before I came into this country, she's been living in the jungle of Borneo Indonesia for the past 35 years and dedicate herself to the orang utans, we had buffet in the huge marquee with them and get to talk to few of celebs who attended the launching, well aparantly one of them is one of the campaigners for saving the orang utans, and he's been in the Jungle of Borneo Indonesia to do some documentary filming (of course, what elese?).
There was an akward feeling to see these orang utans from my country being caved there to entertain the visitors, it's not their habitat, but at least they get feed well and taking care of, hope they'll be survived living in the huge semi glass cave.
